“Constellation 2” is the second exhibition featuring troves of German stories found in Rome. The project, designed by Giuseppe Garrera and curated together with Maria Gazzetti, is above all an homage to Walter Benjamin, to “Flânerie” and to a passion for collecting, to the numerous stories, signs and traces lying dormant in junk shops and on the premises of second-hand dealers, junk dealers and antiquarians of major cities. In the new series, finds on Joseph Beuys (Krefeld 1921-Düsseldorf 1986) and his work will be displayed exclusively. On exhibit will be objects, posters, postcards, invitation cards, memorabilia, publications and photographs. Many of the photos reflect the enthusiasm Beuys provoked at his public appearances in Italy. The focus of the exhibition lies on Beuys’ exceptional relationship with Italy.
