Saturday, 16.3.23 – 10 a.m. Meetingpoint Casa di Goethe, Via del Corso 18
In 1802, Johann Gottfried Seume travelled on foot from Grimma in Saxony to Syracuse in Sicily. Together we will walk from the Casa di Goethe to his Roman quarters, the Palazzo Strozzi on Largo Argentina, and then follow the route Seume took southwards on the Via Appia Antica. His work will accompany us: We will read from the “Walk to Syracuse” at various stations.
